How can you help
To put it simply, the scale of the problem is greater than the limited resources available to the founder; additional support is desperately needed.
To continue and build on the support already provioded and to deliver the level of aid required, ACMC needs funds above all else.
You can support ACMC in various ways:
- You can make a one-off or regular donation to ACMC.
- You can now make online donations via our Donations page
- Or you can send a donation by post. Cheques should be made payable to "Action for Congo M & C".
- You can take part in fund-raising activities such as a sponsored event.
- You could also donate suitable school or hospital equipment or medical supplies, as long as we can also help us to find the funds to ship and deliver these items.
Fund-raising Events
You could attend one of the fund-raising events that ACMC will be organising, where you can meet the founder and judge for yourself her passion and vision. Details of these events will be published on this website.
Our Promise
At ACMC we do not claim to be able to eradicate poverty in the Congo; we will simply do what we can and with your help that will make a significant difference to the lives of many very poor people in rural Congo. Your support, financial, material and other, will be directly beneficial. All funding received will be allocated in consultation with the people on the ground who have the best, the only, view of where the need is greatest at any given time.
We can give you a cast-iron guarantee that at least 90% of all donations will go directly to relieve poverty in the Congo, mainly by providing basic tools, equipment and other support that provide sustainable improvement and self-reliance. ACMC believes in transparency and would be more than happy to provide any evidence at any time.
